WELCOME

I’M SHIRLEY

Healing is not about speed. It’s about intention, depth, and what lasts.

About Shirley Ley, Licensed Psychologist.

In my work, I support Asian and Asian American professionals and high achievers who feel burned out, anxious, or weighed down by cultural and internalized pressure. I offer virtual therapy across Washington, Oregon, and New York, and see clients in person in Seattle.

My work is grounded in cultural attunement and the quiet strength many of us were raised to carry.

CORE VALUES: Attuned ☼ Grounded ☼ Liberating ☼

I spent years following someone else’s coordinates, being the good and reliable one. The cost showed up as soul fatigue and a body I could not hear. Grief followed from living by inherited expectations.

As a therapist, I help you set those coordinates aside. We make room for what burnout hides so your rhythm and your voice can return.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

A blurred, abstract image of small flowers or plants casting shadows on a textured surface, possibly a wall or fabric.

WHAT SETS ME APART?

My Approach
Rooted in the body, informed by attachment theory, and connected to cultural and ancestral knowing, this work helps you realign with yourself and the wisdom you set aside to keep going.

The Pace and Space
We move with cultural and somatic awareness, slow enough to hold what has been unspoken and allow your nervous system to catch up.

Together, We Will
• Tune into your body’s signals when words aren’t enough, allowing them to guide decisions that align with what matters most to you.
• Reclaim parts of yourself set aside to meet cultural or professional expectations
• Create rhythms that fuel success without sacrificing your well-being

What This Work Offers
This is not about quick fixes but deep integration, remembering who you were before you learned to shape-shift for others.

IF SOMETHING IN YOU STIRRED…

We can begin there.
